Are you studying law at the University of Bern and interested in getting involved in human rights? Would you like to work on real cases and issues as part of your studies?

 

Application

Admission to the Human Rights Law Clinic is available at the start of each semester (spring or fall). The application process takes place at the end of the preceding semester; the dates for the information session, the call for applications, and the application deadline will be published here.

For the fall 2026 semester, the application period runs from now until Tuesday, April 28, 2026, 11:59 p.m. Applications must be submitted via email to Raffaella Massara (lawclinic.rw@unibe.ch) and must include the following documents: a letter of motivation explaining your interest in the Law Clinic, a resume, a copy of your academic transcript, and personal information (name, address, email, phone number, student ID number, degree program, semester, availability, and any prior knowledge of the subject area). Additional documents such as employment references, language certificates, etc., may be included.

Interviews will take place on May 6, 2026 (morning) and May 7, 2026 (afternoon).»

Information Event (Roadshow)

The information event for the fall semester 2026 has taken place on Tuesday, April 14, 2026, from 12:30 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. in Lecture Hall A 017 (UniS).

The information event for the spring semester 2027 is expected to take place in November 2026.
